MANILA – Isang grupo ng mga Pilipinong imbentor ang gustong makipag-usap kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. upang personal na ipahayag ang kanilang pagpayag na tulungan ang Punong Ehekutibo na makamit ang kanyang “developmental program” para sa bansa.

“That’s our call. We are united today, the group of the Filipino Inventors Society for our ranks to be heard,” sinabi ni Filipino Inventors Society (FIS) president Ronald Pagsanhan sa isang media forum sa Quezon City nitong Martes.

“Our main purpose is how we can contribute to the development of our country. Let’s be part of the developmental program of our President, so that’s what we’re asking the President to support us. We have more courage if we know that we have the support of our President,” dagdag niya.

Umapela din ang grupo para sa suporta mula sa mga mambabatas.

“Of course, we will also ask the Congress and the senators to listen to us,” wika niya. “We talk more about politics on social media, we should also give more attention to technological science. This is where we should pay attention for the development of our country.”

Dapat aniya ay handa ang pinuno ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST) na tanggapin ang lahat.

“He/she should not only just be a political appointee, He/she have a heart for inventors, have a heart for technologies, have a heart for science,” aniya.

Dumalo rin sa forum si dating FIS president at ngayon ay Vazbuilt head na si Gary Vasquez, science research specialist Hanz Alejandra at Filipino-Japanese Engineer Dr. Bert Hasimoto.
