MANILA – Magbibigay ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) ng libreng live streaming ng mga e-rallies sa mga national bets para sa May 2022 polls sa pagsisimula ng campaign period sa susunod na buwan.
Sa isang pahayag nitong Huwebes, sinabi ni Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez na ang Campaign S.A.F.E. Ang COMELEC e-Rally Channel sa Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/COMELECeRallyChannel) ay magbibigay ng e-rally airtime sa lahat ng bona fide candidates para sa mga posisyon ng presidente, bise presidente, senador, at party-list.
“The Commission will issue the pertinent guidelines on how the candidates and party-list organizations can participate in the e-Rally channel. This platform can help ensure that even those candidates who have less in followers can still have more in views and exposure, so to speak,” aniya.
Magsisimula ang live-streaming sa Pebrero 8, ang simula ng 90-araw na panahon ng kampanya para sa mga kandidatong tumatakbo para sa mga pambansang posisyon.
Ang Comelec ay naglaan ng e-rally timeslots para sa bawat elective position, na ang mga sumusunod:
-Presidential, 10 minutes, 3 slots/night.
-Vice-Presidential, 10 minutes, 3 slots/night.
-Senatorial, 3 minutes, 5 slots/night.
-Party-List Organization, 3 minutes, 5 slots/night.
-Political Parties, 10 minutes, 3 slots/night.
“Every night, there shall be three Presidential and three Vice-Presidential 10-minute slots, and ten Party List 3-minute slots,” wika ni Jimenez.
Samantala, hinimok ng Comelec ang lahat ng partido pulitikal/koalisyon at kandidato na irehistro ang kanilang mga opisyal na account, website, blog, at/o iba pang social media pages.
Mayroon silang hanggang ika-31 ng Enero upang magparehistro sa Education and Information Department (EID).
“Registration of website and/or social media accounts shall be done not later than 31 January 2022 through the link: https://bit.ly/2022NLESocMed,” isinaad nito.
Nakasaad sa Comelec Resolution No. 10730 na ang bawat rehistradong political party/coalition at bona fide candidate ay dapat magparehistro sa Comelec ng kanilang mga social media pages na na-verify na sa pagpaparehistro.
