Bukas si Senate President Vicente Sotto III sa ideya ng pagtakbo bilang Vice President sa 2022 elections, kung saan nais niya umanong maging running mate si Senador Panfilo Lacson.

Ikatlo si Sotto sa pinagpipiliang vice presidential candidates sa 2022, ayon sa isang Pulse Asia survey kamakailan.

Ayon sa Senate President, tatakbo siya sa mas mataas na posisyon kung hindi niya mapagdesisyunang magretiro.

Aniya, “I have to admit I’m thinking about it unlike other politicians who say they’re not running but on the day of registration nangunguna.”

“What will make me run? If we can upgrade the Vice President into something (more prominent). For example if the Vice President will be handling the problem in illegal drugs and drug abuse,” giit ni Sotto.

Idiniin ni Sotto na susuportahan niya si Lacson sa pagka-Pangulo sakaling tumakbo ito. Ika-8 si Lacson sa mga pinagpipiliang 2022 presidential candidates. 

Pagdedesisyunan umano ito ni Sotto sa Agosto o Setyembre.
