Handa na umano ang karamihan ng mga local government units (LGUs) para sa pagdating ng mga bakuna kontra Covid-19 sa bansa, giit ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III noong Sabado.
Ayon sa kalihim, “more than satisfactory if not close to excellent” ang antas ng kahandaan ng mga LGUs.
“The level of preparation reflects the commitment, reflects the sincerity, the desire to skillfully executed the plan and the evidence is there,” ani Duque sa sideline interviews nang bumisita ito kasama ang mga opisyal ng Coordinated Operations to Defeat Epidemic (CODE) Team, National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 at Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) sa Navotas Polytechnic College sa Navotas City.
Inilatag ng Navotas City government ang city-wide immunization plan nito kontra Covid-19.
Samantala, pinuri naman ni Duque ang mga hakbang ng lungsod upang tugunan ang krisis pangkalusugan habang iprenesenta nito ang local immunization plan para sa Covid-19.
“Navotas City is really worth acknowledging and recognizing because of its success in its Covid-19 pandemic response,” wika ni Duque.
“This is not empty words and I say this not coming from empty space but I’m saying this because the numbers reveal for themselves and reflect the effectiveness, commitment, and dedication of the city government of Navotas in leading its people towards an absolutely effective response to Covid-19 pandemic,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.
Sinabi ni Duque na ang positivity rate ng siyudad ay nasa 2 percent kung saan mas mababa ito sa national positivity rate na nasa 5.4 percent.
Aniya, “I salute you Navotas City for a job well done.”
Ang daily attack rate ng lungsod ay nasa 1.53, habang negatibo naman ang growth rate nito sa nagdaang dalawang linggo na nasa 7.5.
“Just to contextualize, when you talk at the average daily attack rates in the number of cases over the total population but we’re framing it within two weeks period,” paglilinaw ni Duque.
Dagdag pa nito, “And it’s 1.53 [percent] and this is really at the lower level of the range because 1-7 if you are within that n [reach], you are in moderate risk, and [when] 1, you are low-risk and if you are beyond 7 certainly you are high risk.”
Binigyang pugay din nito ng healthcare utilization rate ng siyudad na nasa zero percent.
“Ibig sabihin wala silang Covid patient admitted sa kanilang ospital–I was trying to wake myself, sabi ko: parang ngayon lang ako nakakita ng zero percent na healthcare utilization rate,” sabi nito.
Pinuri rin ng kalihim ang LGU dahil sa epektibo nitong pagsusulong sa limang strategic pillars ng pamahaalan: ang Prevent-Detect-Isolate-Treat-Reintegrate (PDITR).
