Pinaluwag ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) ang quarantine restrictions ng edad sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng modified general community quarantine, kung saan pinayagan na ang mga batang edad 10–14 na makalabas ng bahay simula Pebrero 1, ayon kay IATF spokesman Harry Roque noong Biyernes.
“The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) approved the recommendation to relax age-based restrictions for areas placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) beginning February 1, 2021,” pahayag ni Roque.
“Local government units (LGUs), on the other hand, are enjoined to adopt the same relaxation of age-restrictions for areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ),” dagdag pa nito.
Kasalukuyang pinapahintulutan ng IATF ang mga edad 15 – 65 na makalabas ng kani-kanilang mga tahanan. Ang mga pasok naman sa age restrictions ay maaari lamang makalabas kung bibili ng mga pangunahing bilihin o serbisyo.
“Any person below ten (10) years old and those who are over sixty-five (65) years of age shall be required to remain in their residence at all times,” paglilinaw ni Roque.
