Reklamo sa pamahalaan, puwede nang i-text sa 8888 hotline

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque

Maaari nang i-text ng mga mamamayan ang kanilang reklamo hinggil sa mga serbisyo ng pamahalaan sa 8888 o Citizen’s Complaint Hotline, ang national 24/7 public service hotline.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, libre lang ang pagte-text sa nasabing hotline. Nagkaroon din ng soft lanch para rito noong Nobyembre 3.

“Citizens can now simply text 8888 from both Globe and Smart and their affiliate telcos and raise their concerns, complaints and grievances on graft and corrupt practices by government officials and employees and slow and inefficient delivery of government services and requests for government assistance — free of charge.” pahayag ni Roque.

Ang 8888 Citizen’s Complaint Hotline ay itinatag alinsunod sa Executive Order No. 6, na nilagdaan ni  Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong Oktubre 2016.

Sinabi ni Roque na paiigtingin ng hakbang na ito ang “good governance drive” ng administrasyon.

Aniya, “Those who are corrupt, lazy, incompetent in the government, be forewarned.”

“You are now one text away,” dagdag pa ni Roque.
