Guevarra: Imbestigasyon sa PhilHealth, malayo pa sa dulo kahit isumite na ang task force report

Magpapatuloy pa rin ang imbestigasyon tungkol sa mga naiuulat na mga anomalya sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) kahit na isusumite na ng task force ang ulat nito kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Lunes, Setyembre 14, ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra says.

I can’t say our investigation is over. We’ve only just begun (Hindi ko masasabig tapos na ang imbestigasyon. Nagsisimula pa lang tayo),” ani Guevarra.

Sinabi ni Guevarra, na pinangungunahan ang Task Force PhilHealth, na naglalaman ang draft report ng impormasyon tungkol sa “general environment” na nagpahintulot sa katiwalian sa loob ng PhilHealth.

Dagdag pa ng kalihim, “Our composite teams will continue their ongoing investigations and special audits and file legal actions as they finish one case after another (Ipagpapatuloy ng aming composite teams ang imbestigasyon at special audits at magsasampa rin ng mga aksyon sa pagtapos ng mga kaso).”

Samantala, sinabi naman ni Justice Undersecretary at Spokesperson Markk Perete, na kinakalap na nila ang lahat ng mga komento mula sa task force bago pa man isumite ang ulat.

We are now gathering the final comments and suggestions regarding the draft report. We anticipate the Task Force will be ready to submit the report to the President by [Monday] (Kinakalap na namin ang mga pinal na mga komento at suhestyon tungkol sa draft report. Inaasahan naming handang isumite ng task force ang ulat sa pangulo sa Lunes),” wika ni Perete.

Ang Task Force PhilHealth, sa pangunguna ng DOJ, ay kinabibilangan din ng mga opisyal mula sa Office of the Ombudsman, Commission on Audit, Civil Service Commission, Office of the Executive Secretary, Office of the President, at Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission.
